At Hunter-Wasson, we know that without a healthy forest and healthy workers, there is no timber industry.

Hunter-Wasson’s first priority is to be a caretaker of the environment and to protect the people who interact with it. Our environmental policy includes following the Arkansas’Best Management Practices (BMP) guidelines under the oversight of the Arkansas Forestry Commission. Our work is third-party audited as a vendor for the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) compliance and the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) program.

Our team of preferred vendors shares the strict standards of safety, environmental concern, and quality of work that gives our landowners peace of mind and pride in their forests. These preferred vendors, meet a strict set of important criteria that ensures the quality of work that we provide and of which we are proud. Vendors also understand that our success is not measured by the number of tons we move, but by the quality of service we provide for the land and its owners.
